Influenster Sally Hansen Box

Influenster sent me a Sally Hansen Box for review. The box included 3 Sally Hansen complete salon manicure nail polishes. The polish I decided to review was #470 Red My Lips. These polishes are supposed to have 7 benefits but all in 1 bottle of nail polish. The 7 benefits are base coat, strengthener, growth treatment, color, top coat, chip resistant, and gel shine finish. I wore the polish on my nails for 4 days without a base or top coat. The polish went on perfect and I love how smoothly the nail polish went on. No streaks at all. The polish was opaque in one coat but I used 2 coats. The wide brush made application a breeze. The dry time was under 10 min not long at all. After 4 days my nails did begin to chip after the 3 day but mainly due to the hard work my nails go through with or without a base/top coat my nail polish starts to chip after 3 days. I did like the fact that even though I did not use a top coat the shine was still there. I think this polish does what it claims to do. I cant say to much about the growth and strengthening part I guess you have to use the polish for a longer period of time to notice any difference in that aspect. Overall I was pleased with this nail polish and would recommend it. I already owned some of these polishes but I am happy to add  3 more to my collection. Influenster Holiday Box

A few weeks ago I recieved a holiday box in the mail from Influenster. If you have not heard of Influenster.com it is a website that you can sign up for free and create a profile. From time to time they send out boxes with free goodies that you can review and voice your opinion on. At first I thought this was a gimmick but its not. I recieved a survey by email to fill out to see if I would qualify for thier holiday box. I thought what the heck let me fill out the survey and see what happens. About a week or so later I recieved my box in the mail. I was excited I have never recieved anything for free before. Above are the goodies I recieved for review by Influenster.com. I will begin to review this products one by one and leave updates on here to let you'll know what I think. So far I like what I see so I am excited to try out the goodies.

I recently purchased this quad from LA COLORS. It is in the color BES481 Truffles. I picked it up because of the neutral shades and I am a sucker for neutral eyeshadows. Also the design of the quad is cute. The shadows in the quad are shimmer shadows. It contains a highlight shade, a light brown shade, a copper shade, and a taupe shade. The shadows are very soft and pigmented. I did not experience any fallout with these shadows and they lasted on my eyes all day without any creasing but I did use a primer underneath. I purchased this quad at my local Dollar General for $1.50. This is a great buy!  I would definitely recommend this quad.

Up & Up Facial Cleanser

So I purchased this cleanser called Up & Up at my local Target. I am not sure if it is a Target brand but it was the cheapest cleanser there. I was looking for something that exfoliates and works for acne. So this was the perfect selection it is an exfoliating cleanser that contains salicylic acid which helps with acne. I must say I love the exfoliating part of this cleanser. I feel I can rub this cleanser into my skin and its rubbing off all of the dirt and makeup off my face without irritating my skin. The bad side to this cleanser is that it feels very greasy going on my face and even after washing the cleanser off my face I can feel this heavy greasy feeling on my face its so bad that I have to use my Philosophy Purity cleanser after using this one just to remove that greasy feel off my face. I checked the ingredients out and saw that the cleanser contains wax, I wonder if this is the cause of this greasy feeling on the face. All in all its an ok cleanser just because of the exfoliation but I really doubt I would repurchase it. I purchased this cleanser at my local Target for about $3 to $4 dollars.

Dollar Store Makeup Wipes

I just wanted to blog about how much I hate these wipes! These wipes are suppose to be gentle on the skin and leave the skin silky smooth but it is totally the opposite. These wipes are so dry they remind me of fabric softener sheets and they feel so uncomfortable on my skin. Must I say that they don't remove all of my makeup I have to rub my eyes and face to even get a little bit of makeup off my face and I do not like tugging at my skin. So all in all I would not recommend these makeup remover wipes to anyone. But really what can I expect I purchased these for $1 at the dollar tree!

OMG I cant believe I actually own this! I had been searching for this everywhere and it was sold out and just when I had given up my hopes on owning this Sephora had it in stock last week and I jumped on it. This illuminizer is so beautiful. I love the floral design. The design is so unique and beautiful that I did not even want to touch it but I just had to swatch it. The texture is very smooth and it applies the same. It is a pinky gold color. It gives a beautiful glow and can be used as a highlighter or eyeshadow. Pricing is $42. Grab this if you can I know its limited edition and most stores are sold out.
